Social Sciences, Arts, Two Others, Progress to Jaw War:Rise of Legends Semi-Finals

The Faculties of the Social Sciences, Arts, Agriculture, and Law have progressed to the Semi-Finals of Jaw War: Rise of Legends following the Quarter-Final stage on Tuesday, 11th December, 2024, at the Social Sciences Lecture Theatre, UI. 

The round, which was initially scheduled for Saturday, 8th December, 2024, saw; the Faculty of Agriculture defeat the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine by 78.6 points to 73.5 points, the Faculty of the Social Sciences defeat the Faculty of Law by 83.75 points to 81.1 points, and the Faculty of Arts defeat the Faculty of Nursing by 80.12 points to 74 points. The Faculty of Law qualified as Best Losers. 

Chineke Ugochukwu, the first Speaker for Law, emerged as the Best Speaker for the round, following a tie-breaker with Social Science’s Favour Ola-Stephen. 

This will mark the second edition in a row that the Faculties of the Social Sciences, Arts, and Law have qualified for the Semi-Finals. 

The Semi-Finals for both the Hall and Faculty Categories will take place on Tuesday, 17th December, 2024, at the same venue.
