Sigma Sports Festival: Match Day 3 Roundup (Female Category).

Joga Bonito FC opened Matchday 3 of the Female Category on Friday, September 26, 2025, in the same devastating fashion they’ve shown all tournament, hammering Spark Kickers FC 6–1 to extend their perfect run. The signs were ominous from the start. Within a blistering first half, Joga tore through Spark’s defence with three unanswered goals, leaving their opponents stunned and scrambling. The second half offered little reprieve; Joga Bonito added two more before Spark Kickers finally pulled one back through Marvellous. But the league leaders weren’t done; they made sure to close the show with a sixth, stamping their dominance in ruthless style. Sarah, who simply cannot stop scoring, bagged a hat-trick to soar to eight goals overall, while also registering two assists. Heritage and Aliyah(who hit a brace) joined the scoring, with Esther also chipping in with an assist.

In the second game of the day, Phoenix FC finally got off the mark with a composed 2–0 victory over Midway Storm FC with goals from Iseoluwa and Kemi on either side of the halves, and with Esther (of Phoenix) registering an assist.

Joga Bonito are now 5 points clear of nearest challengers SFA Femini, although the latter have a game in hand. Phoenix FC moves up to third place after their win, and Midway Storm drops to fourth. Spark Kickers remain rooted to the bottom, the only team yet to register a point.
