The IMSG Quiz was rounded off in good spirits yesterday 14th of June, at the Paul Hendrickse lecture theatre, University College Hospital. The event which kicked off around 12 p.m saw the 2k21, 2k23, 2k25 and 2k27 classes compete keenly in the final stages of the competition.
The programme, which was hosted by Dr. Ajibola B. Oladiran featured different leads in various disciplines by the participating classes. The 2k21 and 2k27 classes took early leads in the General Knowledge round, while the 2k25 class excelled in General Science, Math and Logic. The 2k21 class went on to dominate in the Basic Medical Science and the 2k23 in the Clinicals, while the 2k27 class claimed the top spot in the Blitz round of questions.
At the end of the quiz, the 2k21 class emerged champions with 101 points, followed closely by 2k23 with 95 points. The 2k25 class secured third place with 93.5 points while the 2k27 class finished with 71 points.
The programme concluded around 3:45 p.m amidst jubilations as participants from each of the classes were awarded–marking a befitting end to the quiz competition.
