John Eriomala is a fifth-year medical student and campus journalist with a primary interest in culture journalism. He is a six-time UCJ UI Award Winner, including a 2025 Overall Best Campus Journalist win, and a Youth Digest Campus Journalism Awardee. He has been published by The Republic, Lagos Review, and WeTalkSound, with forthcoming essays in NATIVE Magazine. When he's not writing, reading Creative Non-Fiction, or debating, you can find him listening to Nigerian hip-hop.
